DES MOINES, Iowa — A popular waitress at a popular restaurant closed out one of her table’s Tuesday night when she found a note from her patron. “At first, I felt really upset, I felt attacked, I almost felt like I was back in middle school all over again, like being bullied,” Taelor Beeck said. “I felt like a burning anger inside of me.” On a bill worth $17.26, the tip line was crossed out. “Tips are only for normal looking people,” the patron wrote. “But I didn’t act on it because it’s not worth it when someone puts hate out there, you know to respond in a hateful way will do no good,” Beeck said. Beeck describes herself as an individual. She said she was stiffed out of the money that people in the service industry rely on to pay their bills. “I mean I can’t pay my bills if people don’t tip me,” Beeck said. “That’s how I make a living.”
Alright, first things first, if you go to a place called “ZOMBIE BURGER AND DRINK LAB” chances are more likely than not that the employees that work there will probably look a little strange to some people. Like what the fuck was this guy expecting when he walked inside? The Capital Grille? Charter Steak House? No chance buddy, not at Zombie Burger. Restaurants with strange names like this usually want the employees to project the kind of atmosphere they’re trying to portray for the name sake of the restaurant. Like the servers at the rainforest café are either a roided up bald guy with tattoos in a safari uniform or an ex stripper who needs a cig every 15 minutes in a safari uniform. As for the non tipper, the only scenario where I wouldn’t tip somebody is if they fucked up my haircut, but I would never skip out on a tip at a place I’m going to eat or drink at. This guy thinks he is so high and mighty he skipped out on a tip at ZOMBIE BURGER, what a fucking joke, guy probably looks like Sloth from the Goonies. He needs go have a meal at Dicks last resort in Boston, that should be his place of choice from now on. Let this be a lesson to you people, don’t be this guy, his life clearly sucks.
